Having collected and hoarded vintage clothing since the 1970s, I have an unbelievable selection of unique, original vintage dresses for weddings, special occasions and everyday wear as well as collectable antiques.

Styles range from '20s flapper dresses to bias-cut '30s numbers; from '50s full skirts to '60s minimalism and '70s glamour; from highly wearable examples of the '80s, '90s and '00s to Victorian and Edwardian classics.

Labels include Patou, Paquin, Worth, Ceil Chapman, Philip Hulitar, Gothe, John Galliano, Vivienne Westwood, Ossie Clark, Suzy Perette, Gigi Young, Fred Perlberg, Yves St Laurent, Oscar de la Renta, Will Steinman, Jean Varon, Emma Domb, Droopy & Brown, Bus Stop, Gina Fratini, Norma Kamali and many more.

Sizes range from UK 6 to 16.  * NB please see below for guidance on sizing.

I always have more stock than is on the site, so let me know if you're looking for something specific or would like more details/photos of any items.

Ideally you do need to try on vintage to ensure optimum fit, especially if it's a wedding dress.  During an appointment (typically one to one-and-a-half hours) I'll help identify what suits you, and suggest alternatives that you may not have considered.

I can accept payment by direct bank transfer, cheque or Paypal. Before purchasing it's always best to check details like exact measurements, colour, condition etc first by phone or email.  Items are exchangeable only for store credit, and must be returned unworn, undamaged and unwashed, with labels still attached, within seven days.

Please remember that vintage clothes are not new, and will have imperfections.  That's part of their charm.  Nor are they as robust as they once were, so appropriate care must be taken when wearing them.  But if you love vintage, you'll know all this already.

* In the absence of universally standardised sizing, I've used the following as a rough guide only:

XS = 24" waist or smaller
S = 26" waist
M = 28" waist
L = 30" waist or larger

However, vintage dresses are all different, so it's worth checking out other size categories.
